Dickie Walker History
I am the queen of the Koehler Kraft fleet. They call me Dickie Walker. Launched in Jacksonville in 1951 I was going to spend my days trawling shrimp like my older sisters. A visionary yachtswoman decided I should be an elegant motor yacht. My interior spaces we inspired by great sailing ships of the 19th century.
An Eldridge-McInnis design, I am a one-of-a-kind 63 ft yacht providing exquisite comfort and spaciousness. My three spacious and private staterooms, three heads, a full-size fridge, an outdoor lounge, and a sundeck provide unparalleled comfort away from land. My main saloon has been called the ‘greatest drinking room in the world’ and after an evening aboard enjoying her hospitality, you will agree.
My powerhouse is a D13000 Caterpillar 6-cylinder diesel engine and ___gallon tank that allows me a 3,000nm cursing range at a comfortable 7.5kts. More than enough to get you away from your cares at home.
In 2008 I was completely rebuilt from the hull down by the craftsmen at Koehler Kraft and from 2018-2020 my cabin structure, decks and bulwarks were rebuilt.
For eight years running, I have been named “People’s Choice” at the San Diego Wooden Boat Festival on Shelter Island.

Scope of Work
October 2016-October 2017
SIWASH was rebuilt entirely from the deck down with new purple heart frames and mahogany planking. All pieces of wood were individually coated in epoxy before being attached to the boat to protect them from water intrusion and ensure they last another 100 years.
February 2022-March 2023
SIWASH returned to Koehler Kraft to have her decks and bulwarks replaced. The old decks and bulwarks were demolished uncovering years of patch jobs and water damage. We started with a sealed marine ply base with fiberglass for stability, new sealed bulwarks, and better drainage points that were now flush with the deck. The whole boat was then repainted and partial rigging replacement.
